Craftsmanship is our philosophy.

Design thinking is our compass.

A Je Voudrais piece never begins with a sketch.
It begins with a place.

The Mediterranean teaches design quietly through restraint, repetition, and objects made to last.

The Regatta Knots Collection was shaped within this rhythm.
Not as a concept.
As a continuation.

Design starts by listening.

Where does the idea come from?

From immersion.

From sailors tying the same knot they learned decades ago.
From rope-makers who understand tension by touch.
From docks marked by salt, sun, and time.

We don’t borrow these elements.
We live among them.

What defines the collection?

Rope.
Knot.
Balance.

In Mediterranean culture, nothing is decorative without purpose.
Every line exists for a reason.

Timeless.
Functional.
Quietly expressive.

Nothing is decorative without purpose.

How does experience shape the design?

We grew up by the sea.

Sailing.
Handling ropes.
Learning when to pull and when to let go.

A knot is never just a knot.
It’s a gesture.
A memory.
A signal of belonging.

This became the essence of Regatta.

What happens in the making?

Nothing rushed.

More than fifty prototypes refined proportions, rope thickness, and tension.
Each iteration a dialogue between hand and material.

Craftsmanship doesn’t search for perfection.
It searches for balance.

Craftsmanship is never rushed.

When does a piece feel finished?

When it feels honest.

When the rope feels necessary.
When the object carries both strength and calm.
When it feels at home on land or at sea.

Only then does it become part of Je Voudrais.

Because every piece should carry two signatures:
the hand that made it,
and the place that shaped it.

Mediterranean born.
Quietly considered.
Made to belong.
